Ceremonial gong with stand

An Edo Period gong made of copper and gold, it produces a rich, gorgeous and almost profound vibration. It was most likely used to announce tea time or placed at the front entrance of a house. The frame is mulberry tree wood. Gong diamater is 32 cm. The frame length is 54 cm.
